At the moment when her granddaughter Charlotte gives birth in a maternity hospital in Tokyo, she has a stroke in her home in France. The firefighters take her to the emergency room and she finds herself in the hospital, stuck between life and death... Thanks to your luminous presence at her side, you awaken her buried memories to help her leave in peace.</p>

<p>Mammary Mountain is an intimate performative, VR experience created in collaboration with artists Tara Baoth Mooney and Camille Baker that explores disease within the body through the experience of breast cancer. This innovative new artwork uses cutting-edge technology to creatively explore and expose women&rsquo;s healthcare struggles, particularly the hidden experiences of breast cancer treatment, with women&rsquo;s lived experiences and their stories directly informing the work.</p>

<p>BODIES OF WATER invites you to hold your breath and let yourself be transported and transformed by water in the company of curious individuals. As night falls, they invade a public swimming pool. These bodies of water, immersed in the watery mass, transgress the limits of their natural environment and metamorphose. They then engage in a contemporary dance that reveals them differently. The aquatic environment makes them supple and light, but also vulnerable and combative. This poetic mass, encompassing and suffocating, unites, separates and constitutes them. BODIES OF WATER explores the transformation of human bodies as they interact with water - a fluid and adaptable medium that simultaneously presents resistance. It takes you underwater for an immersive experience that unfolds an uncommon and otherwise inaccessible contemporary dance.</p>

<p>Adaptive Learning Industries is about to launch the New Day update through legislation that passed with little public support. Uncanny Alley&rsquo;s &ldquo;Metizens&rdquo; will soon feel the amnesia-like effects from weaponized Radio Frequency waves. Cyberpunk hacker-whiz, Gh0st, breaks a group of protesters out of jail to lead them and her increasingly sentient Service-Bot, Atom, to safety through a hacked portal, out of the city and to a new metaverse. They must stick together, evade capture, and decide whether to leave Uncanny Alley or stay and fight for their freedom, and their home.</p>

<p>Si-hyuk is a 10-year-old boy who is brain-dead, and also the sole eye-witness of a murder that took place in the 2010s. His last memory of the apartment which he lived with his mother holds all the clues to the case. In order to tap into his memory, a detective has him reconstructed as a &#39;Ripley&#39; in the virtual world of CSAL (Computer Simulated After-Life).</p>

<p>Free UR Head is an accessible dance experience that uses VR to create instant group choreographies through the participation of its audience. Taiwanese theatre and film director Chou Tung-Yen earned his stripes for his cross-border approach, his inventive use of new media, and the unexpected angles he takes on his subjects. This time he wants to take a step back from what happens inside the VR goggle, and wonders about the real physical repercussions outside of it. The result is Free UR Head, a tool for instant VR-conducted group choreographies.</p>

We&#39;re honored to be showcasing it at the Venice Immersive Official Competition.<br /> &quot;The Art of Change&quot; was born from Droeloe&#39;s mind as a concept music album illustrated by Funilab. Simone Fougnier and DROELOE Vincent Rooijers collaborated on the visual world-building and that work culminated into a standalone VR animated short.<br /> &quot;The Art of Change&quot; is a deeply personal, audio-visual journey that traverses time and space. The project interweaves tape-recorded messages from various life stages within the music, narrating a woman&#39;s story as she communicates with herself across time.</p>

<p>Address Unknown： Fukushima Now is an immersive VR documentary that takes audiences to the heart of Fukushima to meet the survivors living in the shadow of the crisis today. Using volumetric capture &amp; photogrammetry technology, the project transports viewers into an experience that explores the disaster and the lasting impact it&#39;s had on communities and the environment. We reveal how a community endures in the aftermath of trauma and recalls memories of homes they can longer return to. Through local voices, the experience also examines the meaning of home and how it may be redefined in the face of disaster.</p>

<p>Based on the true story of the unlikely friendship between Chief Aliman of the Bunun clan (Taiwan&#39;s Aborigines) and the Japanese anthropologist Ushinosuke Mori during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan, Hayoun Kwon has been inspired by the Ta&iuml;wanese shadow theater heritage to design this experience that leads the spectators on the path of these two extraordinary characters, showing the respect they&#39;ve been sharing for the Jade Mountain and the way it forged their bonds.</p>

<p>Interior and exterior, transparency and opacity, exhibitionism and voyeurism, feminine and masculine; all these notions oppose or unite in the infinite cycle of a labyrinth with no exit.</p>

<p>&quot;Impulse&quot; is a groundbreaking MR experience that playfully explores what it means to live with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). We start amongst the inner workings of the brain as we learn about how we process and make sense of the world. Next, we meet four characters whose stories and environments spill out into the room around us in breath-taking MR. We discover the different ways in which ADHD can affect people as we follow their real-life testimony, told in their own words. Reflecting on our own interactions as well as diverse life stories and perspectives, we experience the complexity of ADHD and consider how systems around us could change to make space for us all.</p>

<p>Journey through the revived paintings is accompanied by a story voiced by the performers Inga Jankauskaitė and Mantas Jankavičius, created by the author Algis Kri&scaron;čiūnas.</p>

<p>Rencontres offers visitors an accelerated experience of humanity&#39;s trajectories through a shortcut of the Anthropocene. <p>Symbiosis/\Dysbiosis: Sentience combines real-time fungal biodata streams with EEG data from Guests, creating an environment where participants perceive and interact with the microscopic connections formed within us, on us and around us.<br /> <br /> Within the expanded reality installation, Nanotopia creates an evolving soundscape with living Mycelium that is directly connected to a custom synthesizer and bio-electrically connected to the virtual environment.<br /> Through whimsical storytelling, live actors, and a live soundtrack featuring the star of the show, Ganoderma lucidum, this installation creates a dynamic, interactive environment. The story&rsquo;s protagonists are three siblings: Dung, Lien, and Phuong, during wartime in Indochina in the 1970s. They are Vietnamese born in Cambodia. This project is adapted from the unknown Vietnamese refugee camps in Penghu, Taiwan, and from a dream of an unidentified female victim in the Khmer Rouge period.</p>

<p>BELOW DECK is a VR theatre play that combines documentary and fictional means, immersing you behind the luxurious fa&ccedil;ade of a cruise ship. In the role of a tourist, you are invited to autonomously discover scenic miniatures of compelling stories of vulnerability and resilience performed by real crew members from the Philippines. More than one-third of all crew members worldwide are Filipino, living and working below deck for several months without any days off. As an addressed observer of a quirky crew show rehearsal, you find yourself in a Lynchian scenario, oscillating between being a secretly invited guest and a voyeur. What persists is the question: Shouldn&rsquo;t we risk the glimpse behind the curtain to discover what remains hidden from our perception?</p>
