Memory is something tricky. And when we harbour feelings of admiration for those close to us, our perception of reality becomes blurred (almost always). What Kayla Fragman does, they who are descendant of Portuguese immigrants in Canada, is to bring their camera to recapture that admiration. From a house full of childhood memories, they talk about José, the man who was the grandfather and father of these two, Kevin and Kayla. This is a documentary that does not judge anyone, does not try to create heroes, nor myths. After all, love always conquers death.
