The Whole Wide City is a short documentary about how childhood evolves within a changing city. We focus on this subject through the city of Kingston, and how children are affected by such a rapidly changing city and changing politics within it. There is less public space for children, fewer opportunities for face-to-face communication, and youth programs being eliminated from recent budget cuts. Ada Wilson and Aoife’s documentary stresses the importance of the preservation of childhood through changing times and giving light to our future generation.
