'The Picture House' is part of 'The Cinema Series', a series of long-shot films filmed in independent cinemas. At the moment when digital projection replaces 35mm, the position of these places is weakening. I wanted to draw up a testimony of this relationship which is transforming between the film and the architecture of cinemas, and in a certain way, to capture the essence of the traditional experience of going to the cinema, where the atmosphere aroused by the location itself plays a role in the audience's experience of the films.
