A documentary about the impact of condensation trails. (Not chemtrails!!!) The light these trails block has consequences for climate, agriculture and solar energy.

How often do you ever see a truly clear sky?

Sometimes the only clouds you see are actually

those of old and new vapour trails from aircraft.

That’s not so surprising when you consider

that 6000 planes fly over Europe every day.

And it gets worse, we only see a small percentage,

because the stripes often turn into clouds, so in real

the problem is even bigger. In the documentary

'Stolen light'.  Journalist Peter Bosman sets out

to investigate. In search for a solution to this issue,

he speaks with scientists, artists, farmers,

psychologists and solar panel owners who feel

that they’ve been cheated.

Why weather forcasters don't predict contrail clouds?

Why do they keep labeling them as haze clouds?

Why don't pay attention on these clouds?

What is the effect on solar energy?

What price do farmers pay? Less light means less crops,

less light means less harvest. But it also means that

nature can convert less CO2 into oxygen.

This documentary examines all these questions.

But we also find possible solutions.discovery tour
