FSHD is a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy, also known as Facioscapulohumeral Dystrophy. This type of MD, most severely affects your face, scapula, and arms, but overtime, the majority of the muscles are affected. In most cases, as you age, your muscles deteriorate. The muscles do not regenerate, therefore causing a lot of pain, weakness and adapting to new ways of life.
