A documentary about an elderly couple who are evicted from their land and seek a new lease on life, such as learning the trade of fishing. It's about a filmmaker who, after eight years of failing to secure funding for his latest fiction film, decides to embark on this new documentary project, which is ultimately cut short. With all this material, the filmmaker begins to reflect in his small apartment and, without stopping, begins to compose and film himself. Canalete is the result of these two encounters.
