The video work Athens is part of a project entitled Point of departure which explores themes inspired by the complexity of human condition and landscape in Greece. The dialogue between history and the notion of everyday is at the heart of my artistic process, as the surface and signs of present are not treated as accidental and elusive elements but as aspects involving the accumulated blends of natural and manufactured over time.
