When award-winning documentarian Ondi Timoner left her Altadena, CA home for a shoot in Rome on Jan. 4, 2025, she could not have predicted that she would be leaving it for the last time. Returning to the ruins left by the Eaton Fire, Ondi finds her neighbors, many of whom had their generational wealth wiped overnight, now at risk of being displaced from the only place they’ve ever called home.
