1m2 (one metre squared) is a feature length experimental film exploring the relationships in the natural world that can be found in one square metre of a backyard over the course of a year.
The film chronologically follows flora, fauna, and micro-organisms through the seasons, with images ebbing and flowing between each medium via digital editing effects like compositing, gradual dissolves, and animation and linked by way of movement, colour, texture, and form.
