Born 1980 in Freiburg, Germany. He studied visual communication at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg. His films have been shown at numerous international festivals and awarded various prizes. With DIE FRAU DES FOTOGRAFEN he won the German Short Film Award 2011 and with YOU AND ME the experimental film competition at the International Short Film Festival Vila do Conde 2010. In 2016 together with Frank Scheuffele he founded the film production fünferfilm, where films such as DIRFT (Helena Wittmann) and OLANDA (Bernd Schoch) were realised.
