More than 150 thousand people suffer from Alzheimer’s in Czechia, and the number is growing. This neurodegenerative disease cannot be cured, only slowed down. The Czech Television observational documentary follows four families and focuses on the everyday lives of those who decide to take care of their loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s at home. The afflicted slowly become dependent on the help of others. The film’s goal, however, is to show that despite the difficulties, it is possible to live with this disease surrounded by myths.
