One of three amateur films made by Robert Bolton and friends in the 1930s. Together with a group of friends Bolton embarks on a climbing holiday in Wales. The film features Bolton filming himself at the beginning. Intertitles indicate that the holiday started in August; a 'coffin' is loaded into a car. They travel to Lichfield. They are in a 'convoy' of three motorcars. The friends climb some craggy rocks with ropes. They reach Caernavon Castle. They visit Mount Snowden. Various views into the distance across the landscape are captured. A fond farewell is given by their hostess. They return to London.
