Beth and her girlfriend Kayla are enjoying a relaxing night at home when suddenly their best friend Lucy, teary-eyed and in shock, barges through their front door. Lucy explains that while driving back to campus from work, her car suddenly came to life and tried to strangle her. While Kayla does her best to be supportive and sympathetic, Beth opts for pragmatism, casting doubt on Lucy’s story. With the arrival of their other friend Suze throwing chaos into the mix, the girls debate what to do, and against Beth’s wishes they ultimately decide to go confront the car. Now, face to face with Lucy’s car, the four girls must decide whether or not they will believe their friend and destroy it.
