A compilation of film rushes, filmed for a national eye test campaign. First there is a waiting room (an optician) with various people reading newspapers waiting and then a woman having an eye examination. There is a London number 233 bus on a street; the shot is out-of-focus to indicate how, if your eye-sight was poor, you might miss it if you didn't stop the bus in time. A woman has her eyes examined, followed by point-of-view shots through the bus window. A man, then a girl have their eyes seen; a pan across a classroom of school girls.
