For the Istituto Luce’s 90th birthday, Alice Rohrwacher was invited to dive into the archives of the famous Roman institute. Comprising audio interviews and a kaleidoscope of surprising images, this short film is a reflection on our relationship with song, and goes some way towards shedding light on the filmmaker’s wonderful use of traditional songs in her feature films.
