An interwoven cinematic enactment of Jack Spicer’s eponymous long poem, conducted in the alpine village of “La Pomme Chinoise”. Local villagers recite, reinterpret, and “translate” the work—written on black cards and loose sheets—against a backdrop of rock music, collective voice and poetic improvisation, exploring the poet as a receptacle and transmitter of external voices
