Última Memória, a play by Sara Carinhas, premiered at Teatro São Luiz in March 2023. Estava Escuro na Barriga do Lobo is not its making of, but an incursion by Joana Botelho into Sara’s wandering doubts on her journey until the curtains open. In the special session at Doclisboa, the film director and the theatre director explore the encounter between the screen and the live body of the actress, in a dramaturgy that sees the film co-inhabit with short scenes from the show that the ordinary film audience does not see. This will be a unique and unrepeatable party to combat loneliness, as in life and as in the theatre.
