Bruno Latour was a philosopher of ecology, a field thinker. Although he is no longer with us, his words continue to inhabit the web, echoing those of Laurence, Jérôme, Oumy and others. From a field in Finistère, a housing estate in Wallonia, the outskirts of a Senegalese port or the foothills of the Alps, these «Earthly people» attempt to describe their territories, explore their dependencies, try to marry geology, biology and sociology. Each in their own way, they are participating in the emergence of an “ecological class”. It's an impetus that Bruno was hoping and praying would help create a balance of power to defend a habitable world.
