Four young girls take their first steps guiding anglers on the banks of Laxá in Aðaldalur, Iceland´s biggest salmon river. The river banks hold their family history and the girls are the 7th generation of guides. As the summer unfolds, they grow in confidence and skills while also making mistakes. At the same time nature is facing challenges, and so is their future.
