In 2019, a young whale research team called Whale Wise spent the summer in North Iceland. We studied the response of whales to whale-watching vessels, working with a special community in Húsavík.
Our field season was full of challenges and highlights, laughs and mistakes. It was real, successful and imperfect. We hope to share our experiences with aspiring scientists.
