The film tells about the work of the outstanding Russian archaeologist, head of the Department of Ancient Art and Archeology of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, curator of the collection of Trojan gold from hoards discovered by Heinrich Schliemann during his excavations, head of the Bosporan archaeological expedition, candidate of historical sciences Vladimir Tolstikov and his team.

The viewer will see unique footage of the study of Trojan gold, will visit the excavations of the ancient city of Panticapaeum in Kerch, as well as the ruins of the legendary Troy.
