This very short film, made by F.L. Vanderplank, shows: 'A full grown female chigger in a man's small toe. Taken at Von. N, Nigeria 1950.' The footage consists of a semi close-up view of a white foot turned sole upwards. A small black shape is discernible on the pad of the little toe. A black hand cuts around the shape with a scalpel.
