Maria is a survivor for over forty years. This is a short film about Maria and her journey. Growing up with a rare blood disease, figuring out her best way to survive and leading and inspirational journey as a survivor of Thalassaemia. As and advocate and outreach leader Maria has help others with this rare disease acquire the help they need.
