Steady State (1989) explores the dynamics of a relationship through interactions of male and female body movements. The narrative (such as it is) follows a female character who leaves the “real world” and travels into a private dream world, inhabited by twisting, breathing structures inspired by the architectural work of Gaudí, before returning to reunite with her masculine side in search of balance — the “steady state.”
