Sira, a young Peul girl, and her tribe cross the desert to a village where her fiancé, Jean-Sidi, is waiting to marry her. Suddenly, all the men are violently massacred by a gang that appears from nowhere. The leader of the attackers, Yéré, takes Sira away for being humiliated by her. Raped and left for dead in the desert, Sira finds herself alone with her survival instinct. She finds refuge in a cave. She discovers in this desert that the terrorist camp is led by Moustapha, her father's best friend and Yéré, her rapist. Between bitterness, desolation and desire for revenge, Sira, who will have to assume that she is pregnant by her attacker, decides to do everything to thwart the terrorists' macabre plans, while without her knowing it, her fiancé has gone to look for her... Three generations of women are revealed alongside Sira: Aissatou, her mother, and Kémi, a teenager who has been kidnapped and sequestered as a sex slave.
