"Retina in vitro" is an animated film with text read by a lector. This text can function as an independent poetic piece. "Retina" was commissioned by the Ossolineum on the 200th anniversary of the publication of Adam Mickiewicz's "Ballady and Romanse”, so it is a kind of contemporary commentary on the tradition of Romanticism. It is impossible to summarize the text of the film, because it resembles the so-called schizophrenic word salad. The film is drawn by a 3D printer. The frames refer to Egyptian hieroglyphs.
