The port is Jaffa, and the protagonists are Palestinians who are waiting for the inevitable, namely the imminent expulsion, like an alarm clock in the morning, by the Israeli authorities. In a place that is being forcibly transformed, the only weapons left are the daily rituals that make those who live there human.
