Paradise is an essay that collects the intimate testimonies of women from the town of Paradise in Santa Cruz, inviting us to reflect on the impact of climate change and the expansion of the tourist industry in the region. With a poetic and contemplative perspective, the work questions the paradises we build, those we long for but never reach, and those that we inevitably end up destroying. At the same time, it celebrates the idea that memories are the only paradise from which we can never be expelled, preserving the lived experiences amidst the relentless transformation of our surroundings.
