The patient's abdomen is seen before the operation. It is very large. The intertitles describe the patient's condition. The operation begins. A long incision is made in the abdomen. The edges of the cut are protected. The tumour is exposed and a surgeon passes their hands over the surface of the growth to check the surface. A small incision is made in the cyst and it is punctured. A fluid sample is taken and the tumour partially collapses. The tumour is removed. The attaching ligaments and fallopian tube are identified and divided between clamps and separated from the cyst.
