Isolated from the outside world, Nura perseveres in her house in the middle of a barren landscape, without vegetation or water supply, convinced that she can meet her daily needs on her own. One night, her son Leon appears unexpectedly on her doorstep and tries to convince her to take part in a government resettlement project. Will Nura have to bow to the forces of nature and become one of the millions of other climate refugees, or will she manage to survive in this hostile environment?
