New Species - The Expedition of the Century

A group of renowned scientists from Brazil’s National Institute of Amazon Researches took 10 years planning the most ambitious scientific expedition conducted into the Amazon forest in the 21st century. The destination: an area known as Serra da Mocidade. The goal: to discover new species.
This unprecedented scientific adventure, which led to the description of more than 80 new species of animals, plants and insects, is the subject of New Species – The Expedition of the Century, a new documentary feature by GRIFA FILMES
