Microbiomes are essential for life in earth and they have the potential to tackle some of societies most pressing issues. In recent years, microbiome research and innovation received growing attention from science, industry, politics and the general public. This documentary wants to give insights into the potential and also the challenges that come along with microbiome research. It also shows how microbiomes can be applied in many fields and the experiences different stakeholders made with such applications.
