When her cat goes missing, a Hasidic teen leaves the gates of Jerusalem’s Jewish Quarter for the first time. Out in the city at night, she meets a street girl with nowhere to go, who offers to help. They move through alleys and backstreets – one tied to tradition, the other already outside it. The search for the cat turns into something else: a bond, a first love, and the sense of what’s missing in their lives.
