Alba, an artist-in-residence at the Casa de Velázquez, struggles to find her place in the world and in her own body. During her research, she discovers the Dama de Elche, a statue of mysterious origins that becomes an obsession for her. Alba's life is then thrown into turmoil, leading her toward horizons she never knew existed.
