In September 1973, days after the coup d'état, 19 workers from a Chilean paper company disappeared after being arrested for their involvement in unions or leftist parties. Forty years later, a police officer broke the pact of silence, revealing the involvement of the private company CMPC in the deaths of these 19 men. The case remains open today.
