Although genetic research is developing very rapidly and studies on ageing are promising, hundreds of people around the world, aged from 2 to 101, have already entrusted their bodies or brains to cryonics over the last 50 years. Frozen in liquid nitrogen, they are placing their trust, their lives and their fortunes in the promise of one day being brought back to life by medicine. This documentary is a family portrait of Elaine, who has decided to wake up in the future.
