As a symbol of the Living Forest - Kawsak Sacha - the Kichwa indigenous people of Sarayaku, from an old cedar tree in their land, the central Amazon of Ecuador, decided to build a canoe to, in an act of reconquest and decolonization, take it to the Conference of the Parties on Climate Change held in Paris in 2015, COP 21.
