How to Change the World is an episodic documentary series that shines a light on global change makers in the social entrepreneur space. These are people dedicating their lives to solving large problems where the stakes are high, both personally and socially. The lightning rod of the NoDAPL movement at Standing Rock was the catalyst for SAGE, a native owned and run company whose goal is to create energy independence and generational wealth for the native Lakota people. To accomplish this, SAGE CEO Joseph McNeil is working with free solo climber and conservationist, Alex Honnold, to bring solar energy to The Standing Rock Nation, which is also the first important step towards a transformational wind farm.
