Carlotta is engrossed in recording the audiobook for Walter Benjamin’s short stories. Her sister and brother come to visit her for a few days, and the three find themselves in the small town in the Marche region where they grew up. Gradually, an episode they experienced together two years earlier resurfaces: an act of violence in which each of them was, in their own way, entangled.
