From Shock to Awe is a feature-length documentary that follows the journeys of U.S. combat veterans abandoning pharmaceutical drugs to seek relief from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) through the controversial, mind-expanding world of cannabis, ayahuasca, and MDMA. Filmed over three years, it provides an intimate look at how these substances, mainly ayahuasca, can be used successfully to heal our morally wounded soldiers—and by extension, their families.
