At the height of the COVID‑19 pandemic the filmmaker turned 70 years old. He and his friend Anthony Buchanan (who shares the same birthday) decide to hold an outdoor celebration in Kerouac Alley in San Francisco. The filmmaker asks most of the people present to dance for 18 seconds, and later adds Tom Waits music to the dancing birthday‑celebrants.
