A fascinating insight into life behind the scenes at the Cooper Technical Bureau, Berkhamsted. Intertitles indicate 'Sporting and Other Activities of the Cooper Recreation Club'. 'When the Day's Work is Finished' - workers leave factory. 11th March - famous for the CRC Cross Country run for Challenge Cup presented by (photo); runners (all male). Hockey, cricket with bystanders. H. E. Preston - best scorer (elderly man, presumably retired). Tennis (against Kings Langley). Bowls, man jumps in sea, on small fishing boat. Sequence with tennis (shrunk), bowls. 'You'd hardly recognise some of our sportsmen and women on duty'; footage of various people at work (a little dark), factory, office etc. Wedding Bells; Miss E. Cooper becomes Mrs E. Cooper. Mr and Mrs Frank Cooper. Couple arrive at church. 'Peeps in the office'; office staff both men and women.
