Continents Adrift: A Study of the Scientific Method is a 1971 educational science film directed by Lewis Hall and produced by American Educational Films. The film explores the application of the scientific method in developing hypotheses from theoretical models. Through a combination of animation and live-action sequences, it examines concepts such as paleomagnetism, sea-floor spreading, magnetism in rocks, and the drifting magnetic poles to illustrate the theory of continental drift.
