Wherever you are, there is always noise. Underwater, our perception of sounds changes, appearing muffled or reduced, making the underwater world appear as a “world of silence”. This space is, however, inhabited by an abundant, complex, fragile and noisy ecosystem. This biodiversity is threatened every day by human activity, particularly noise pollution.
