In early 2014, a small team was dispatched to Northern Brazil to capture the Cupuacu story for Aveda Corporation.   Known for quality hair and skin care products, Aveda’s commitment to sourcing quality ingredients was unique and unorthodox.   The brand preferred to work directly with small entities to ensure quality and efficacy, help maintain biodiversity and combat climate change,  but to also promote community rights and autonomy.   This short film tells their story and the impact of the brand’s ethos:  We can change the world, by changing the way the world does business.
