Black Journal was the first nationally broadcast African-American television series in the United States. Greaves co-hosted with Lou House (aka Wali Sadiq). The series explored the many aspects of historic and contemporary African-American life that had been, and continued to be, ignored or suppressed by American commercial television. These two episodes give an idea of what the breakthrough show was like.
