A group of figurines from the french Musée de l'armée in Paris join Napoleon on his expedition to Egypt. Inspired by a visit to the museum in 2017, the film's narrative centers on the deteriorating diorama of Napoleon and the Sphinx. As the figurines embark on their journey, they discover the Sphinx's broken nose, leading to a surreal conversation between Napoleon and the monument.
