Amadeu Martins, capoeira master, therapist, father, grandfather, and community leader, narrates his life through encounters and reenactments that blend documentary and fiction. During the day, he reminisces about his exploits, comments on photos and videos, sings, and hangs out with friends. At night, he leads capoeira and batuque rodas at Senzala, the iconic grounds where he teaches children and young people. The film combines his personal account with dramatized scenes, showcasing the cultural and social power of capoeira in a working-class neighborhood and the intense stories of resistance and community.
