Two Bangladeshi women step out of their families and lives and onto earthquake ravaged Haiti for a yearlong peacekeeping mission. They shatter stereotypes as members of an all-women, predominantly Muslim peacekeeping force. Optimistic upon arrival, they are quickly confronted by their unpreparedness and an unexpected hostility to their presence. Over the course of the year, their lives are forever altered.
